Getting Started in Edwards Educational Grant Portal
Edwards will only accept requests for educational grants from health care organizaitons (HCOs) and other legitimate providers of continuing medical education and professional conference organizers. Requests from, or on behalf of, individual health care professionals (HCPs) will not be accepted or considered.
To get started in Edwards Educational Grant Portal you will need to create a User Account by following these steps:
On the Edwards Educational Grant Portal Home page you will find three (3) boxes that correspond to the different therapies for which Edwards Lifesciences considers educational grant requests. Please click the box to learn more about the educational missions of each therapeutic area to help you select which will best apply to your educational grant request. When you have selected the appropriate therapeutic area that corresponds to your educational grant request, click the “Apply Now” button and select the grant request type from the drop-down list to begin the application process.
From here, you will be directed to the educational grant request application page which will be assigned a unique identification number. Please complete the information that is requested in the educational grant request application. Clicking the “Save as Draft” button at the top of the “Edu Grant Edit” page will save all the information provided in an educational grant request application. You will now see the educational grant request in the table under “My Grant Requests”, and from this table you can click on the unique identification number link assigned to your educational grant request in order to get back to the page specific to your educational grant request.
Once you have completed the educational grant request application and any required documentation has been uploaded and attached to the educational grant request application, you are ready to submit your educational grant request. Once you submit your educational grant request application, the submission is final and you will no longer be able to edit the educational grant request application.
In order to submit your educational grant request, click the “Save & Submit” button at the top of the specific educational grant request application page. If there is any required information missing in your educational grant request application you will get an error message when you click “Save & Submit”. Please return to editing the application and fill in any blank fields. If you don't have the information or you feel it is not applicable please put "None" in those fields. If you have successfully submitted an application and later find an error or something that needs to be changed, you may contact the Educational Grant Administrator by clicking the "Have a Question?" button at the bottom of every page.
Once you log in to the Edwards Educational Grant Portal, you will be directed to the home page. Here you will find a banner at the top with a link to “My Grant Requests”. This is where you will find a listing of the grant requests that have been submitted under your User Account, which will include the status of your educational grant request. The Educational Grant Portal allows you to begin an educational grant request application, save your work, and then come back into the same educational grant request application and continue working without losing information you have previously provided.
In order for your educational grant request to be submitted for consideration, every field in the educational grant request application must be completed and all of the required documentation must be attached.
It is important to note that even though an educational grant request application may have been started and/or saved in the Educational Grant Portal, it will not be received and evaluated until it has been submitted.
